An Experience Study is a periodic review and analysis of the actual experience of the Plan which may lead to a revision of one or more actuarial assumptions. Currently performed about every three years, actual rates of decrement and salary increases are compared to the actuarially assumed values and modified as deemed appropriate by the Actuary.
Each investigation report contains the results of the experience study for all groups covered under ERSRI, including State Employees, Teachers, MERS, State Police, and State Judges.
For the six-year period ending June 30, 2010.
