Retirement Board Election (December 2021)

The Employees' Retirement System of Rhode Island (ERSRI) is holding an election to fill an open position on the Retirement Board.  All active municipal employees and public safety members of the retirement system as of December 3, 2021, are eligible to run as and/or vote for a candidate.

ERSRI is governed by a 15-member Board chosen in accordance with Title 36 of the Rhode Island General Laws.  Board members serve as trustees with fiduciary responsibility over all aspects of the system i.e., financial, administrative, policy, etc.

The elected member will complete the term of Active Municipal Employee Representative Thomas M. Lambert.  The member elected to the seat will be sworn in at the March 16, 2022 meeting and is expected to serve through March 2024.
