If You Plan to Retire within 12 Months
Personal Retirement Counseling is available for members who will be retiring within the next 12 months. At this meeting, you will receive a Service Retirement Packet that includes the forms that must be submitted by both you and by your employer, as well as a personalized estimate. Your Retirement Counselor will guide you through the available benefit options, how to fill out the forms, using the ERSRI Member Portal as a retiree, and more. You will have an opportunity at this meeting to ask questions about your account and your retirement benefit, so you are able to make an informed retirement decision with confidence. If You Plan to Retire in 3 Years or less
For members planning to retire within the next 3 years, ERSRI offers mid-career counseling to help you in your planning as you approach retirement. Use the form below to initiate a request for a mid-career counseling session. Upon receiving your request, your account will be reviewed in detail and you will be provided with a benefit estimate based on your estimated retirement date. A Retirement Counselor from ERSRI’s Mid-Career Counseling Team will address questions you have about your future benefit options and how your personal circumstances - such as service purchases, breaks in service, or a divorce - may affect your benefit.
